i am fiction

i am fiction, white spaces

between the dark words

that goes

unnoticed,

in haste.

i am the colour;

of chapters unwritten.

i am the faded fragrance

of the sweet monotony of

pain

that poets offer;

i dance with the character-ed roles.

should i be brave enough to say?

that the antagonist

inspires

more

than the protagonist

that the one

whose silence smiles

dooms you in the end

and yet you, like me

love the vessel,

still refusing to drink from it.
